Topgolf fills the gap between lessons. GOLFTEC has the sensors and the coach, but there is no substitute for hitting a real ball into open air and watching it actually fly. The bay gives that with a bucket that never empties, giant targets in the outfield, and enough built-in scoring to make every clean strike feel like proof of life.
As a place to get better, it is a range with feedback attached. The game modes reward distance control and direction, the ball tracking says where each shot landed, and the mat is forgiving enough to keep a rough patch from turning into a spiral. It is not a place to rebuild a swing, but it is an excellent place to test one.
That is why it is the cadence venue. One to two bays a week, usually with Misty, with the lesson notes from that week in mind. When the GOLFTEC numbers start moving, this is where it should show up first as ball flight you can see.
